Maths with Mills - Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing Maths With Mills. These Terms & Conditions outline what you can expect from us, and what we ask of families to help ensure students get the most out of tuition.
MWM TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR GROUP SESSIONS
By signing up for tuition, you are agreeing to the following:
1. Student Conduct and Engagement
We want every student to feel safe, supported, and able to learn.
Students are expected to:
-
Arrive on time for each session
-
Engage respectfully with the tutor and other group members
2. Parental Responsibility and Communication
Parents/carers play an important role in supporting learning outside the sessions.
Please ensure:
-
Your child attends regularly and is in a quiet, focused environment
-
Any changes to contact details are updated with us promptly
-
You check emails for important updates, including session reminders and resources
-
Any concerns or queries are raised early so we can work together to support your child
3. Payments and Fees
-
All tuition fees are paid in advance via GoCardless Direct Debit.
-
Payments are collected on the 1st of each month.
-
The monthly fee covers all term-time sessions.
-
The fee is the same each month, regardless of how many sessions fall within the month (some months have 3, 4, or 5 sessions depending on the calendar).
-
Missed sessions are non-refundable.
-
If a payment is missed or fails, your child’s place may be paused until it’s resolved.
4. Cancellations and Notice Period
-
If you wish to cancel tuition, please give at least 14 days’ written notice by email before your next scheduled payment.
-
If notice is given after this, the next month’s fee may still be taken due to pre-planned timetables and limited places.
5. What you Book
-
Your booking enrols you onto a class at a set time each week (which you will have selected during the booking process). Once booked, it isn't possible to transfer your booking to a different time, even as a one-off, as we strictly limit class sizes to 10.
6. Disclaimer on Grades and Academic Outcomes
We are deeply committed to helping each student grow in confidence and make measurable progress.
However, please note:
-
We cannot guarantee specific results, grades, or outcomes, as progress depends on a range of factors such as student effort, attendance, and exam performance.
-
Tuition is a valuable support alongside school, but not a replacement for personal responsibility or regular revision.
By enrolling, you accept that no particular grade is promised.
7. Safeguarding and Online Safety
-
All sessions are delivered via secure platforms, and our safeguarding procedures follow best practice.
-
If you or your child have any concerns, please contact us directly and promptly.
By signing up for tuition, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
If you have any questions at any point, just reach out — we’re always happy to help.
